EUH statement

InnovaDocs SDS teamUpdated: 6 November 2026

Definition: EUH statements are EU-specific supplemental hazard phrases from CLP Annex II, such as EUH208 Contains (name of sensitising substance). May produce an allergic reaction.

They have no GHS equivalent. Some follow from properties (EUH066 repeated exposure may cause skin dryness), others from composition (EUH208, EUH210 Safety data sheet available on request).

Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/707 added EUH380/381, EUH430/431, EUH440/441 and EUH450/451 for the new classes endocrine disruption, PBT/vPvB and PMT/vPvM, applicable to substances from 1 May 2025 and to mixtures from 1 May 2026 (products already on the market: 1 November 2026 and 1 May 2028).

The dates for the new EUH380 to EUH451 statements: existing substances by 1 November 2026, existing mixtures by 1 May 2028.
